Q
How often do you update the site?

A
We add content to the site on a weekly basis as information becomes available. Often we update the site daily. Once a month well add major content or make a design modification in order to make site navigation easier for the visitor.

Q
Do you promote fund raisers exclusively for survivingALS.com?

A
Our intent is to provide a vehicle to help all those affected by ALS to reach out to the community for help whether it is for information, moral support or financial need. If you would like to promote your fund raiser or event please email at michael@survivingALS.com with your event information and we will gladly post it for you free of charge.

Q
If I leave a comment in your guestbook will I be bombarded with junk mail?

A
No! We will not market to you nor will we share your information with other organizations. As a matter of fact the e-mail address and contact information is optional when leaving an entry in the guestbook. We generally ask for the information so that private communication can occur between visitors or in those instances where visitors pose a question and request a response from survivingALS.com.

Q
Your site provides specific ALS information with personal information - why is that?

A
We want to tell more than a personal story. Davids story serves as the foundation to illustrate how individuals are affected by the disease as well as providing credible and accurate accounts of interactions with the medical and research community. We add value by showing visitors where to focus their energies when determining their own course of treatment and also provide resources to conduct their own research.
